TOM WOODARD
Tom has been a PGA Class A member for 35 years. He served as the Director of Golf for the City of Denver for 10 years. He finished the last 17 years of his career as the Director of Golf at the Meadows and Foothill golf courses.
Tom’s playing background includes earning All American honors as a member of the University of Colorado golf team. He played on the Asian and PGA Tours. He also participated in two U.S. Opens and one PGA Championship. His golf accomplishments led to his induction into the University of Colorado Athletic and
Colorado Golf Hall of Fames.
Teaching Philosophy:
I emphasize coaching the core fundamentals of the golf swing. Grip, stance, posture, alignment, and swing plane. I also take a wholistic approach to the game. Underscoring how important a role the short game, course management, the mental approach, and physical fitness play in developing a consistent golf game.
KRISTIN LUKELA
Licensed Professional Counselor, Performance Psychology
Kristin Zastrow Lukela is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has been in private practice since 2007. She is passionate about supporting and guiding her clients to step into the highest version of themselves. She is excited to be partnering with King Golf Academy and is offering her expertise with performance psychology to serve students understanding how they can connect with the mechanics of solid confidence and up level their golf and lives.
